We had an unexpected project after a huge tree fell on our house that allowed us to change the driveway approach to our front door.  We had some vague ideas that we wanted the new front to have an English country cottage type look and be welcoming. 

Mary Lou sketched out a plan, detailing all the plantings and even the curve of the driveway.  She added in lattice for the front windows for hydrangea vines and a even stone path through the front garden that leads to a shed.

We got so much more than we expected and love it. We always get compliments from visitors and so look forword to a 3 season show of color.  And when we do decide to sell our house, people will first see the gardens Mary Lou designed and fall in love with it just like we did.  You would never know what began as a Deck House with a carport  was transformed into welcoming  English country garden .
